Mahjong Solitaire (the "App") is developed and published by Karna Digital ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our App.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
We do not collect, store, or share any personal information from users of the App. The App is designed to operate entirely offline and does not require an account, registration, or internet connection for core gameplay.
The App stores game progress and settings locally on your device using local storage (Hive). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.

This data is persisted using the Hive local storage library and remains solely on your device. Clearing the app data or uninstalling the App will remove this information.

The App uses Google AdMob to serve advertisements (banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded video ads). AdMob may collect and use device information for ad personalization, including:

You may opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device's ad settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization).
The App includes the following Firebase SDKs, which are currently disabled by default via a compile-time feature flag (kUseFirebaseServices = false):
These services are not active in the current version of the App. If enabled in a future update, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
The App checks for the presence of the Google Play Store (com.android.vending) to verify the device environment. This check does not transmit personal information.
The App displays advertisements via Google AdMob. These ads may be:
All ad formats are subject to session frequency capping. Rewarded ads are limited to 5 per session, and interstitials to 3 per session, with a minimum interval between ads.
Ads are optional. The core game experience is fully functional without watching or interacting with any advertisements.
The App does not currently collect analytics data. The Firebase Analytics SDK is included in the codebase but is disabled by default. No usage data, event tracking, or user behavior information is transmitted from the App.
The App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete it. Parents or guardians who believe a child has submitted personal information should contact us.
Since no personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted by us, there is no risk of your personal data being accessed, altered, or disclosed through the App. All game data remains on your device under the security provided by your device's operating system.
Game progress and settings are stored locally on your device and persist until the app data is cleared or the App is uninstalled. No data is retained on any server, as no data is transmitted from the App.
